Hospitality and Tourism offers a comprehensive overview of the ever volving hospitality field, encompassing topics like hotels, restaurants, events management, tourism, cruise lines, casinos, franchising, ethics in hospitality management and more.
 
Hospitality and tourism is a dynamic, business, bringing together people from around the world.  This latest course explores key principles and best practices in management leadership, customer service, human resources, marketing and operations.  Students in this course will gain a foundation on the variety of segments within the hospitality and tourism industry and their organizations.

  • Format: In-Person 
  • Length: 6 Months 
  • Duration: 24 weeks (6 months)
    ⏱ Total Hours: ~192 hours
    Days per Week: 2 days/week in-person (inclusive of optional business partners site visits in hospitality and tourism/events)
  • Location: SOTAT Campus
 
Track Options
Daytime Track
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Industry Immersion: Fridays (morning/afternoon, varies by partner availability)
Evening Track
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Industry Immersion: One Saturday per month (AM) or scheduled outside class hours as available
